FOOP: Combining the old with the older,
by Rob Britton
While object-oriented methods have served us well for the past few
decades, they offer few good solutions when it comes the modern
problems of concurrent and distributed systems. This talk will present
FOOP (functional object-oriented programming) as a potential candidate
for solving modern problems using a new Java-based language called
Scala.
Pizza and refreshments will be available.
